ACE arrests labour inspector and guard for alleged bribe-taking

Pakistan's Anti-Corruption Establishment has arrested a labour inspector and a guard on bribery charges in Mankera, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The arrests followed a complaint from a citizen, identified as Nasir Abbas, who alleged the officials took a Rs30,000 bribe from him.

The complaint was submitted to the Regional Director of the ACE's Sargodha region, leading to the detention of the inspector and a guard named Muhammad Younis.
