Pakistan Hockey League to launch formally in Islamabad next month

The Pakistan Hockey Federation is set to formally launch the Pakistan Hockey League in Islamabad on 14 October, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.

The reported aim of the launch is to develop a professional and commercially sustainable hockey structure in the country.

The inaugural season of the league is planned for 2027.
