Lahore to host ten-day Basant festival in 2027
The Punjab chief minister has approved a ten-day kite-flying festival for Lahore next year.
According to a report by Geo News, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a ten-day Basant festival for Lahore. The event is scheduled to run from January 29 to February 7, 2027.
The festival, centred on kite-flying, was celebrated earlier this year in the city. The Geo News report noted that people marked the occasion by taking selfies with kites on display.
